This book was originally published in hardbound in 1954 by The William Frederick Press, New York, New York. It was reissued by that company in a paperbound edition in 1973 under the title, Veronica’s Veil, giving the editor’s name as Doris Sheridan (pen name of Dorothy Scallan, the sister of Fr. Emeric Scallan). This present (third) edition is photographically reproduced complete and unabridged from the first edition, with the new elements of the second edition added, and using once again the original title.
